Lindsay lives in the suburbs between NYC and Philadelphia and for over a decade has consulted for many of the food producers and food makers in the area working in the specialty food and agricultural industry. She owner-operated a food business that relied heavily on local, seasonal produce and as an undergrad, developed a student-run CSA and community service program focused on local agricultural and environmental initiatives. Lindsay also led her community college to be the first in the country to sign an Environmental Stewardship Agreement with the EPA and worked with state and local governments, along with local non-profits, on conservation policy and water quality issues.
Lindsay graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Environmental Policy Institutions and Behavior, concentrating in Food Policy and Agriculture, and is actively pursuing food policy and agricultural research as a Masters of Public Policy student at Delaware Valley University. She is the current graduate assistant for the public policy department and co-leads the community garden on her campus.
