Kimmy (Emily Kim) (she/they) resides on occupied Coast Salish land of Camano Island, Washington where she has been co-operating Eternity Farm with her partner since December 2020. Eternity Farm is a small, no-till, human-scale operation that focuses on Asian vegetables and aims to work cooperatively with the land through practices such as implementing native plant restoration and excluding synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Kimmy’s farming interests include perennial food crops, medicinal herbs, plant propagation, seedtending, and cultivation of culturally-relevant plants. They believe greater healing comes with building relationships with the plant world and that this can be reached through land access and education. Non-farming interests include meditation, music, books, ceramics, and photography.
